Hi all, the VRG held a race at Watkins Glen last weekend. I considered going,
but didn't for various reasons.
I got a call from a friend who works the Grid; he said they got 4 inches of
snow Friday! Cold as blazes. He wore a snowmobile suit on the Grid!
They ran Saturday after the track dried, but most of the entrants went home.
There were handfulls of cars that gridded and ran.
The organizers cancelled Sunday's schedule, by what my contact told me.
Some you win, and some you don't get dressed for, although under those
circumstances, 4 layers of Nomex would probably be welcomed. I'll take 90
degrees any time!
