Mike,
Not sure what a Lincoln Locker is but I had the same problem on my TR6 running a Detroit Locker in the past. I lap the tapered shaft to the mating flange with fine Clover lapping paste, clean well and assemble. No issues since.
Just finished painting my TR6 and hope to be ready for the spring. I was going to snag a Quaife gearset today until seeing the previous mails. Guess I'll stick to my still strong 1.88 1st Kastner gear sets (thanks Kas). Now if I can just keep the wife from buying an 7k French stove I can finish 2x engines.

On my TR6 I have been Using Lincoln Lockers but now that I am making more horsepower I am breaking the short diff hub right at the keyway. I have broken two in the last two races. I guess it may be better to have some kind if limited slip now but they cost way more than the LL.
