I am sure that there sre some mandatory safety things that are required,
right?

Since I retired the car from serious autocross action, it has been returned
to street legal trim.  The once SCCA legal rollbar has been cut down to fit
under the hardtop and a Plastic 16 gallon fuel cell has been installed.  I
doubt that will pass muster.
