Just to echo what others have said; it's most likely some other machine
sending spam with your return address. There is effective nothing in the
email system that ensures that the "return" address means anything at all
once the message has left the first mail server; and many mail servers do
not check either.
That other machine may or may not be infected with a virus, but there is
little you can do about it sending the spam. There are ways to block
receiving it; but the only consistently effective method I have found is to
determine what range of IP addresses the spammer is using, and block all
traffic from that range of IP addresses.
I used to see messages with my return address; but not since I started
blocking most of Russia, Turkistan, etc. What I do still see occasionally
is 'bounce' messages, meaning that the receiving address does not exist and
a message was sent to it with my return address.
