Bobby,
Sorry I didn't get to meet you and Gary. I was right there hanging with the
6pack guys but I didn't let them influence me. (I was the one standing
around with a bottle of water in his hand laughing at their antics).
The Tribute and Toast we had to Uncle Jack was touching and fun. The single
Malt was a little strong to me so I choked on it.
Shaun Tarleton is the sticker guy in Atlanta. Do you need his contact info?
I can make a call and get his number.
Mike

> Hey Guys! Made it home from the Mitty last night. Gary Fuqua and I hung
out with ALL the right people! I was fortunate to meet Joe Alexander and Ted
Schumacker. I bought parts for Barbara's TR6 from both guys. Swell guys and
great parts.
> It was an honor to be with Grassroots Motorsports as the cut the cake for
the 25th birthday celebration. Nice to finally meet and shake the hands of
several other FoT'er's... the SIXPACK guys need help and rehabilitation..
Toad (or TOD) brought back some memories with his TR2000 Saloon, Barb and I
had one with the wonderful BOGWARNER automatic transmission... right???
> I cannot place my lousy hands on business cards from a Tall Guy with a TR6
who makes the racing stripes for our hoods like Group 44 style... coulda
been the beer, but if ya'll know him, let me know...

> The greatest thrill for me was meeting Bob Tullius and his crew from Group
44... Seeing the XKE V12 and hearing Lanky fire that thing up in the Group
44 tent was nirvana!!! Seeing the Group 44 make laps with Bob Tullius at
the wheel of the Jagyewarr was historical.
> Tim Suddard had the worst luck with the GT6 as one of his staff members at
the wheel apparently fowled the plugs waiting to run with the Group 44.
Seeing that little GT6 plug around the track on two cylinders (in last
place) was very dear to my experiences, sorry Tim but the GT6 looked
fabulous, I know you guys went through heck just getting it there!
> I came back with a ton of photos and several autographed items from Group
44. Not knowing their history in detail before and having now been 'school'd
I can say what an honor it was to have a few photo op's with Mr. Tullius in
front of Tim's GT6.
> Happy to be home... may take the summer to dress my GT6 a little more
Group 44!
