[Fot] Spitfire Photo

A good while ago, some FoTer posted a link to a photograph of a purple (I'm
color-blind, so it might be blue) squaretail Spitfire #44 in the paddock at
Summit Point. It was taken in the 70s. Two men are posing with it and I think
one is Ferstenau (sp?).



I don't remember where the photo was posted. Can anyone tell me:



Where is this photo posted?



Is this the same #44 purple Squaretail Spitfire that was at the Jefferson 500
at Summit Point this past weekend?



Any more info about this car.
