[Fot] Spun a d#@n bearing

What caused the bearing failure? Oil pressure drop? Misalignment?

Greetings FoT

I spun my # 3 rod bearing last weekend and my crank is already at .040
under.

It turned the rod blue so it's toast. I know it's been discussed before but
I think

it may be time to weld the crank and go to Chevy rods.

Any advice for the conversion ?
