I assume you are talking about "spiral lock rings".B  I use a dentist pick to
install and remove them without damage.

Anyone got a good trick for remove the spring lock type retainers? B I
can come up with several ways to remove them that would end up making
them useless but I would like to save them if I can. B In case I do
destroy them, I have a new set. B These are on Wiseco pistons.
