I used to have a 7 lb cap on my G Prod (then) Spitfire with the Mk. 1 header 
tank atop the carbs.

Because it kept blowing water into the overflow bottle I went to a 15 lb. 
cap. Worked fine until I began blowing leaks in the header tank. Went back 
to the 7 lb. cap.

Later went to a Volkswagen aluminum radiator and got rid of the Mk. 1 
system.
