Amici,

I'd like to nominate Mike Mehl to join our Triumph racing group.  Mike
introduced himself to me at this past weekend's Rose Cup races here in
Portland.  He is a local that is currently preparing a TR4 with the intent
of having it finished in time for the Columbia River Classic on Labor Day
weekend.  From the photos he sent me, it sure looks possible, but I bet he
can use our help with some of the details.  Do I hear a second?

As for the Rose Cups, besides myself, Babcock and Pendergrass held up the
Triumph honor.  This was an SCCA double regional with the normal for Oregon
Region Vintage race group.  There were nearly 50 vintage cars entered with
38 taking the green flag on Sunday.  The Triumph's all finished!  

We all had a pretty darn good weekend it seemed!
