[Fot] TR3 timing cover bolt threads

Thanks all, they are 5/16 x 18.  It had been awhile since they were last
chased, if ever, it was a very tight fit, which is why I asked.

I've got another thread question.  I am using a mechanical Auto Meter
water temperature gauge and need to know what those threads are in the
thermostat housing where the stock temperature bulb (sending unit TR4)
screws in.  I think it is a 3/8" NPT and if so I think I need Auto Meter
part number 2263 to screw in there.  Can anyone confirm?

Stupid question, but what are these threads?  I was cleaning up all the
treads on my block and the 1/4x20 tap seems slightly small.
