Hi Gang..I'm trying to find some of the guys I raced with in the early
1970s..in DP San Francisco Region ..i sent the following email to Triumph

Hi Gang...As a Triumph Travelers Member now, and formerly(early 1970s for a
year or 2)...In those days there were quite a few TTSCS members racing Tr4s in
SCCA San Francisco Region...I Raced a Black Tr4..with Yellow Wheels and yellow
racing stripe...Are any of you guys that I raced with/knew then still
members..etc.?....I lived in the east bay then, and bought the black TR4 from
Alva Rodriques of Gonzales(Salinas area) ..Before i bought it, Roger Hettrick
drove it for Alva..They moved on to a GT6, which they went to the National
Championships with..(unfortunately Roger rolled the car on the
1st lap after qualifying 4th...
It would be great to hear from some of the old 'Pedal to the Metal Group'
