I have one of the high torque starters on the TR4 - got it from  Ted.
It has been perfect - will surely get another one for the  TVR.

-They are remanufactured in Texas - USA (claim to  be nippon-denso)
-gear ration 4:1 instead of 3:1
6 adjustment positions  for mounting
8.5 lbs - is this less than the high torque starters we all  currently use?
