I have one on my daily driver TR3 (from TRF tho, not eBay) and I'm very
happy with it.

Some have reported problems though, with wires breaking inside the solenoid.
I bought my next one from Ted S. as he supposedly has the solenoid wires
secured to prevent this problem.  (Haven't managed to try that one yet,
though, the Stag it is for has other problems.)

Be sure you get the one that matches your flywheel.  There were at least 4
different flywheels used on the TR3/4 and two different types of starter.
There are "high torque" replacements for both (only the pinion gear is
different), but things don't work so well with mismatched components.  ISTR
the "press on" ring gear takes a 9 tooth pinion, while the "bolt on" ring
gears take 10 teeth.
