Holy smokes, is that ever a lousy idea. F1 has enough trouble having
some real racing. Would you really race at a track that penalized your
use of the kerbs by ripping off your suspension. Most tracks use FIA
kerbing, which is the legitimate name of the alligator bumps. You use
them in any turn that benefits from them--even at the club level.
Walls, Armco, and overly aggressive curbs eliminate passing
opportunities. Racing is passing.
