How do we find that "live timing"?

I just “watched” the Group 4 Race  on live timing.  
It looked like Tony Garmey in the  TR250K and Bill Babcock in Peyote ran away 
from the field once they got by the  Corvettes and Lotus’. 
Best times were 2:21.978 and  2:22.277 respectively.
