Geez, when I was a kid a skate board was what you made when you took a 2 
foot long 2x6 and nailed a roller skate to the bottom side, we didn't 
even think about the top side!  I guess I'll have to stop into some of 
the sporting good stores here in Pasadena and see what's available.
