Well..... being biased.... I've driven Ford Vans since I was a teenager. I'm not a millionaire nor a pauper. I personally LIKE the idea of camping out in my van when I get to the track.
Currently I own a 2005 Ford Van E250, gas 5.4 liter gas engine. There is a V10 in Ford vans, plus the Power Strokes in diesel. I tow a Wells Cargo enclosed trailer, plus I have a boat/trailer rig that weighs over 5000 pounds... there are some vans 4x4 , but kinda scarce....   yeah... I'm probably one of the only ones doing it hippie style, but it works for me.
