[Fot] drag co-efficient and frontal area data for selected Triumphs

I should have mentioned that two of the road tests also presented data for the
TR2 in "Speed Trim". The drag coefficient was reduced about 10%, but the
frontal area was also reduced to 12.15 sq ft, so the overall drag was reduced
a total of 30%.

The early roadtests of the TR2 and TR3 give some graphs from which
the Cd can be back calculated. I did this some time ago. Unfortunately, the
numbers were not consistent from road test to road test. For example, why
could a TR2 with 85hp go 108mph and a TR3 with 100hp go only 100mph. The
frontal area is 15.5 sq ft. The drag coefficients ranged from 0.47 to 0.63.
I believe 0.52 would be a good number. I can share the spreedsheet if anyone
is interested.

I thought this might be of interest.

Does anyone know where I can find similar
data for a TR3?
