In 1997 I fitted a new MSD Digital 6, (they were out of MSD6ALs at the time)

The unit is mounted on the supplied rubber bobbins.

I have always used Magnecor Plug Wires, and NGK Plugs, (presently iridium)

Originally, I had a new Lucas distributor, but it was already showing signs
of distress at 12,000 miles and I replaced it with a Mallory dual-point,
fitted
with Pertronix from day one.

Coil is an MSD Blaster 2 ?

Perhaps I too am lucky, but I have never had any ignition problems with my
set-up.
