Obituaries Jack W. Drews 
(September 22, 1936 - August 16, 2008)

<A HREF="http://www.webfh.com/fh/obituaries/fh/resources/flowershop/home.cfm?&fh_id=10589">Send Flowers</A>  Jack W. Drews, 71, of Geneseo went to be with his Lord on 
Saturday, August 16, 2008. He left while doing what he loved in Grattan, MI. 
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 21st at Concordia 
Lutheran Church, Geneseo. Rev. Daniel Olson will officiate. Burial will be in 
North Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at 
Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, 225 East Park St. Geneseo. Memorials may be 
made to Concordia Lutheran Church or LCMS World Relief. Jack was born September 
22, 1936 in Danville, IL the son of Christian and Zora (Quick) Drews. He 
graduated from the University of Illinois and married Frances Schmidt on June 12, 
1960 in Hebron, NE. Jack had worked at Hyster Company and then for John Deere 
Company before retiring in 1998. Jack was member of Concordia Lutheran Church 
where he was the choir director and held various other offices. He was also a 
member of the Geneseo Kiwanis. Jack enjoyed working on and racing vintage 
sports cars and the friends that he made through his hobby. He also enjoyed taking 
vacations with his family, singing in barbershop quartets and music. Survivors 
include his wife, Frances; a son, Tony Drews, Moline, IL; two daughters and a 
son-in-law, Christine Drews, Raymore, MO, and Lisbeth (Timothy) Schaubroeck, 
Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Samantha and Victoria Drews, and 
Micah and Adam Schaubroeck; and one brother, Phillip Drews, Stewart, GA. He was 
preceded in death by his parents.
