Of course there is also camping at the track, both some water/
electricity only sites at the far end of the paddock, some reserved
camping-only sites (no race support RV's allowed) in the paddock, and
a lot of reserved and unreserved camping everywhere outside the
paddock and infield. It would be fairly easy to set up two Triumph
ghettos -- one in the camping areas for those not using an RV for
race car support and one in the paddock where Randy, Henry Frye,
Steve Groh and I paddocked this year. Lots of fun after the official
festivities. We were a bit more subdued this year both because of
fairly frantic work on the cars, and also by the rain, but joint
cookouts, movie nights, and convivial consumption of adult beverages
sound like a necessity for such an august gathering.

My paddock arrangements will be driven by how I get Peyote to the
race. But I can always bring a tent if I don't bring Nero.
