[Fot] New Triumph by BMW ?

Hi All-
I think I have said this before but ....
There is no commercial sense in BMW trying to launch a new Triumph sports car.
If it is to be like the originals, "affordable," the potential sales volume
could not possibly justify the development cost.
The potential customers for such a car have probably never heard of Triumph or
MG.
BMW already has a range of sports models.
So, unless the announcement comes from them, on BMW letterhead, anything you
see on the internet or in print is a pipe dream.

Looks almost exactly like a Solstice, thought that's not exactly a
bad thing. I'd be a lot more interested in a retro Triumph than a
retro mini, but then we represent a tiny market, while the mini went
after a pretty big one.
