There is no mystery on the cup presentation. In the very beginning I wanted to
offer this cup to participants that had Triumph cars that were excellent
examples of presentation & preparation, the driver an advocate and involved
person in Vintage type racing and results from the  Triumph competition on the
track. The values being approximately 25%, 25% and 50%.

There are two provisions:

1. No driver can win the cup in consecutive years.
2. The cup is to be awarded once each year and moved around the country to
give opportunity to as             many drivers as possible and a venue agreed
by the overall Triumph participants. In general it is East     Coast, Central
Area and West Coast on a rotation basis. This has given us to date:
    Mosport, Ontario Canada, Buttonwillow California, Atlanta Raceway,
Georgia, Hallet, Oklahoma, and     the last, Miller Park, Utah.

Too date race winners have been chosen three out of five events, DNF
occurrences in the race event and other entanglements during the race did take
some possible winners out of contention three times.
