Back home in Oceanside from that little 4389 mile hike.
Never used anything but full torque on the head. That was 105 in increments
of 10 pounds after the first 75 pound start up.

Actually I never use full torque with steel or copper gaskets, but I
would if I used composite. I got to 75 with steel and see how it
goes--looking for mayo in the top end. If I get some I go up until it
quits. I don't run the engine hard until I'm satisfied with the gasket.
