Andy

Thanks so nothing bad yet! The manufactures sings their praises but I have read some negatives as well. They sound like a real good thing.

  Hi Group,

                  Has anyone any experience, positive or negative
gapless rings?

==AM==
I put them (TotalSeal conversion of Grant rings purchased from The
Roadster Factory) in an "overhauled" 1147cc engine back in '96, for a
Spitfire ex-race car that we used to autocross. I was very happy with
them. But it's not like I have thousands of miles or great numbers of
total hours on the engine, so I can't testify as to durability (haven't
really done anything with the car since 1999).

*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er,
Triumph Herald engine with  wings.
