[Fot] AMB TRANX 260 Transponder

We've had two of these units "fail" in the Spitfire.  The LED is lit,
but T&S gets no signal.  Not WEAK signal, NO signal.  We tried moving
the transponder to another spot on the car, higher up and with a clearer
shot at the track.  Still no joy.

For those of you that have had one fail (hard-wired units), is the LED
lit?  How have they failed?

Steve,

I had the pleasure of being the first to have one of the hard-wired
units fail. At least that's what the tech said.. oh yeah, send $350 for
a replacement!

They got the monopoly so we haven't a choice. I hope this one lasts
longer than four years.
