[Fot] Odd request - other beer disappearances

Summer job after HS graduation ......Schaefer Brewery in Brooklyn NY
loading trucks
I went to personnel office at warehouse to apply & was given an
application to fill out AND a 16oz.can of Schaefer ....This was at 8am
Employee lounge had a tap to while away the slow parts of the day

It was a very different time & place !!!!

How about Schmidts, Ballantine, and Valley Forge Beer & Ale?

When I was a kid, Ballantine was THE big sponsor of the Phillies...

Valley Forge was brewed in Norristown PA... my home town...
