Sorry, finger was faster than my brain.

It is a Hyundai. They were sold in Canada as a Tuscani.
I believe it was sold in the States as a Tiburon. I saw
one here in the Detroit area about 1.5 years ago and
checked on it then.

Maybe a Hyundai Tuscan? Just kidding. Actually what you're describing
sounds very familiar, but I can't recall what the heck it is--
something really silly as I recall, a tarted up Japanese car, only it
was tarted by a factory instead of a kid. I'll think of it at about
two AM.
