Thanks to all who responded. you gave us really good information and 
several leads for investigation.

Tom Householder was particularly helpful, and sent pictures and entry 
lists from the 1963-64 period that showed Jim Spencer as driver. The 
best input came from Kas himself, who advised us that if the factory 
shipped this car to Cal Sales in California that it is a team car for 
certain. The owner is now investigating this through Brittish 
Heritage in the UK.
