Someone else may have mentioned this already, but the O-rings in
the bottom of the float bowl have a tendency to perish. The "right"
material for this application is Viton, because it's more resistant
to fuel, but even with Viton rings, the witches brew that is modern
pump gas will eat them pretty quickly.

Replacing them is easy without removing the carbs. Be sure to
recenter the jets when you put it back together.
