I've seen that view.  On an old Jeep Wrangler my wife and I rented in
Mexico with bad hood hold-downs.  Broke off the windshield and left a
goose-egg on my wife's forehead.   I almost left a goose-egg on the car
rental agent's forehead when he tried to charge me for the damage...
