    Another tip for oil control. The modern EP lube we now use is not 
friendly to the old nitrile compounds that most of our lip type oil 
seals are made of for the gear boxes and diffs. National and Parker rate 
  Nitrile as a # 2 (scale of 1-4) with EP gear oil. Viton (Fluorocarbon) 
is rated #1. Try to get a National Seal book and cross over standard 
seals to Viton whenever possible.
