I have used aa EZcarlift for over a decade. I'm a big fan. You can get different width adapters so that i can work on my MGA, TR3, and Nissan 350Z. I prefer to lie on a creeper than to stand up, looking up at a car to work on it, when using a standard
car lift. This this is relatively portable and can be learned up against a wall out of the way

My neighbor just did that last weekend in his 9ft garage. He copied the neighbor across the street. So yes, I can probably get you a lessons learned from that. I do know that the first things that had
to happen was to raise the height of the tracks on the garage door(s) so they it will not hit the car or get smashed when raising the car. The other neighbor has his on wheels. This may be exactly what you need to know. Send me your contact information
