We used to take the Roadster skiing up to Tahoe all the time when I was a kid. Strap the skis to the luggage rack and head up the mountain. I still have the tire chains Dad used to have to put on when the passes were bad. </div>

<div>You've probably seen the news that it snowed in San Jose recently. It's snowed maybe 2-3 times in my lifetime here, maybe a few flakes or dusting at the most. Last week Mt. Hamilton got several feet of snow and I really got excited. Despite road closures
I took a chance and headed up in the roadster. The peak is about 25miles from my home.</div>

<div>The road up is 130 heading to Livermore/Patterson and it is super twisty. Low-speed stuff, but fun. </div>

<div>My heart's racing as I spot little bits of ice/snow roadside. We just don't get this kind of weather here. It usually requires a 5-15hr drive to Tahoe to see snow! Sure enough, the snowpack becomes real!</div>

<div>Drove down the mountain thinking I MUST take my family back to play in the snow, no matter what! </div>
