<p dir="ltr">Making sure you know there are two voltage regulators in the 311.</p>
<p dir="ltr">One is up under the dash and directly regulates the gauges.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The other is in the engine bay and regulates everything else.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Does your mechanic know that?</p>

<p>So my mechanic says the voltage regulator is causing some of my gauges to malfunction, specifically the temp and fuel gauge.  Says a new one is $180 or an after market one is $100,  Seems excessive to me.  Are there any other options for replacing or repairing
 the voltage regulator I have?  Thanks.</p>
