I am assuming the switches are generic and work on any Fairlady model and year. 2) One of the four bolts that hold the wheel on the car has broken off. There should be a rubber bumper on it that the switch hits. If it?s gone your brake lights will stay on. The wheel studs are pressed into the rear axles & front hubs. Rears can generally be replaced while the axles are installed but the front hubs require disassembly. Studs are available from our vendors. You might also look @ Corvair studs. They are a little longer & the splines may be different. They are available @ most parts houses. I noticed an immediate improvement in ride quality on both cars. Rebound control is much more controlled, especially noticeable with Nismo rear leaf springs and front coil springs. Gone is the high-frequency, bouncy "race-car" ride that I've been accustomed to. I honestly did not expect the difference in ride quality to be so striking...it's that good. Highly recommend the Bisteins for high-rate springs, and the best part is that custom valving is available! The modified front lower mount also makes changing/removing a breeze--not my desire but I can see racers utilizing it. https://zcarblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/IMG_9683.jpeg More pictures of my roadster: https://www.311s.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=324245#p324245 http://www.zcarblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/IMG_0682.jpeg and Sora: https://www.311s.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=324243#p324243 Shocks can be ordered from Jim's website: https://www.datsunrestorationproducts.com/shop-1 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I would think that if one were to turn a headlight into an air intake, it would be the left side, where the carbs are.? This car looks to have the reverse. Thanks for the update.? The Historical is an amazing weekend.? The race footage is wild.? My stomach jumps as the car is going down through the Cork Screw while just watching the race on my computer.?? What I love is watching the race lines of different era cars as they go through the cork screw.? ?The earlier cars drift some and the later CanAm cars are suctioned to the ground.?? I immediately jumped in the roadster to check it out: http://www.zcarblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/IMG_1921.jpeg It's the Transcendental Racing 240Z! You can see more of it here: https://www.zcarblog.com/2021/07/28/automotive-history/the-transcendental-racing-datsun-240z.html After nerding-out hardcore on the Z I ended the evening with sunset drive in the roadster, enjoy! http://www.zcarblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/IMG_9683.jpeg http://www.zcarblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/IMG_2086.jpeg http://www.zcarblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/IMG_2048.jpeg -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
