On 311s, I’ve never sold parts, but I have posted WTB and asked generally for availability of certain used parts, and gotten really attractive offers, matched by really high quality parts. By contrast, new parts on 311s (just as they would be direct from vendors) can be spendy. 

I do share the view that the economics and ‘Big Brother’ aspects of eBay have changed, and not for the benefit of the casual seller. 

That said, they were forced into some of the oversight measures due to what have always seemed to be obvious Anti-Money Laundering and anti-fencing concerns.

This is news.? I however recently sold a bunch of roadster parts on Ebay and was shocked at the fee's and also PayPal's fees. Got pretty expensive all told.Dave

You might want to try Facebook Marketplace.  I recently sold my MG from an
ad there.  Free!  I never did like PayPal.
