[Roadsters] '68-'70 Hood Scoop Stainless Trim Removal?

Try to spray in as much wd-40 as you can and let it soak.  Its just a press on fit so removing requires lots of wiggling to get it loose.

  Any tips and tricks for removal of the stainless trim at the leading edge of the hood scoop?
 
 Trying to get the trim off without bending, creasing, etc.  Don't care so much about damage to hood, since it's just a trim donor.
