Found the problem with my little car! Thanks for all of the possible causes of it stalling out on me yesterday, after instalking the new fuel filter and topping up the oil in the su carbs we still couldn't get it to keep running for very far and it finally wouldn't even start so got it on a car hauler and took it to our favorite guys that specialize in brake and muffler up here but also one of the guys helped deduce that it had finally plugged up solidly in the fuel tank pick up, so it probably is rust in the tank. Fo nor now just blowing air back through into the tank until it run freely I was then able to get back on the road, B so guess we will be cleaning out the tank before I venture too far from home!
