[Roadsters] 1600 hasn't sold in Monterey @ Mecum auction

I never would have thought the s600 or s800 would go for that kind of money!
I was stationed in Japan from 69 until 72 and several friends had them. I
thought they were just 2-wheel motorcycles, especially when that was they
had for drive train. They were tighter inside than or Roadsters, and rather
sluggish also.

Peace,
Pat

The 1600 hasn't sold, but the 1965 HONDA S600 SM CONVERTIBLE sold for
$41,000.
I've only seen one of these cars in person. Unique feature was the chain
drive as opposed to a drive shaft.

Also not a Datsun, but an FJ40 went for $57K.
