[Roadsters] Roadster on Hagerty's News

Being an enthusiast of all things Datsun it always amazes me the number of
Datsuns that have been significantly modified.

Maybe its because the US collector market has totally discounted Japanese
imports as having value. Owners could buy these well built little cars on
the cheap and not be concerned with depreciating from any modifications.

Look at the 510 and try and find an unaltered example of one in good
condition today. Cheap cars have always been the starting place for
modified hot rods and imports are no exception, just look at the original
VW Bug.

If a car in stock condition has limited market value, there isn't much
guilt felt when modifying it.
