If you haven't done so already, download the appropriate wiring diagram PDF
from the tech wiki section on 311s.org and have it printed and laminated at
least 11 x 17 at a Staples, Office Max, etc. One of the guys on 311s
meticulously recreated most of the OE diagrams (and some with popular mods)
in color making them so much easier to follow and trace circuits. IIRC, it
cost less than $5.00/each to get them done 11 x 17. A place with a plotter
can print larger, but it can get pricy. Having a 4 x 6 color wiring diagram
hung on the wall makes it nice on old eyes.
