[Roadsters] Conclusion to "Is it a bad fuel pump"

Datsun server list:

I had a fuel pump fail and all it took to restore it was a small spring in
one valve.  Probably could have made the spring myself out of a piece of
wire, but had another old pump to scavenge from.
