Oh, and I almost forgot, you will get different pricing with the painter as to
how you answer the question "do you use Armorall?", but make sure to answer it
honestly.
Silicones make for shiny surfaces, but they never really "clean", you just
"smear them elsewhere". (well, eventually they degrade due to UV) That is
why your hands feel lovely when you are finished, you are re-distributing
everywhere about the house.
So that tire shine mist is landing on the fenders, and will make for orange
peel battles, and they'll do mist or rattle can initial coats to test on a big
job, then sand those back off.

Agree with all points and also recommend using a pre-paint solvent to remove
wax, silicone and grease-before you sand else you will be pushing that stuff
deeper into the old paint
