Why not go a KA even the 5 speed shift lever fits in the 1600 hole .  not a
hard swap and sure does help. Mine pulls as good in 5th as the 1600 does in
2nd. Plus with the toque can leave in 5th down to maybe 20mph and never shift.
when done right looks like it came that way
