[Roadsters] Roadster Air Conditioning

Thanks to all who replied with suggestions.  My contact with the 
aftermarket suppliers indicates that they have no Roadster specific 
applications but they might be willing to do some research and come up 
with some off the shelf parts that would work.  I've worked with Vintage 
Air in the past doing an add-on for a friends '56 Nomad.  It was really 
nice; everything fit just as it should and worked swell.

I met Kevin Desirello at the gathering in Williams this past Saturday.  
I was so stoked about the SR20 idea that I failed to notice an A/C in 
any of the cars.  There were 4 of them there that Kevin had a hand in 
and it really set me thinking.  I'm a bit away from starting the 
Roadster because as mentioned earlier I can't start that project until 
my '66 T-Bird droptop is done.  I'm quite far along with that; nigh on 
ready for paint.  Everything is mostly shut down with winter on its way 
here in the high country of Arizona.  At 7000' in elevation it gets cold 
soon.  I've put off all my preparations for winter for too long while 
working on the 'Bird. Now I've got the 'Bird in the back under the deck 
so I can park my driver in the garage alongside my wife's car.  I hate 
digging the car out of the snow before going to work so the garage is my 
choice for winter.

Ah, the wife 1.0 thing.  I can't imagine another woman putting up with 
me.  Linda has already learned my idiosyncrasies and after 31 years if 
she'll keep me I'm staying with her.  With that in mind I want the 
Roadster or anything else I drive to be as comfortable for her as I can 
make it.
