There was a fellow, also named Stan, most recently from Cicero, Indiana, who
put A/C into his 1970 2000 when he lived in Texas. Unfortunately, those of
us in the IN-IL-WS area who know him lost track of him, and his former
E-mail address (stan at indy.net) no longer works. You lose some of the
already limited luggage space, because some of the equipment goes into the
trunk.
Seat warmers will draw a lot of what is already a small electrical supply,
so you should consider an alternator upgrade. But then, you've got to watch
the wiring.
Buy yourself a nice Miata. It doesn't have the cache of a Datsun Roadster,
but it has A/C and I presume heated seats are available, so you wife will be
happier. Or consider an upgrade from Wife 1.0 to Girlfriend 1.1. Might be
cheaper.
(I already have my helmet on and the shields up, guys.)
