[Roadsters] getting into a locked roadster trunk

Years ago, I watched a couple videos on YouTube about picking locks, then
made some basic tools out of an old hack saw blade, using a grinder and a
Dremel. Took about 20 minutes. Just don't get caught carrying them. I'm a
retired licensed mechanic and our shop had a tow truck so I also have slim
jims etc. so they're part of my tools anyways.

I know this has been discussed before, don't recall seeing the way I did it
recently...straight down from the lock there is a rubber plug in the trunk-
pop that out, take a tire iron- not a 4 way- will need to be longer than the
stock roadster one...run it straight up inside, just to the left of center
and find the lock by feel...go to the left slightly and you can push the
"blade" in between the clip and the lock...when you get it in place, give a
quick hit from underneath or just twist and jam on it a bit and the clip
will pop out and lock will basically fall out intact. could do the same
thing with a long screwdriver probably.
