The following 3-main main bearing part numbers as provided by
CarPartsManual.com are good at this forklift parts vendor:
http://www.forkliftpartssupply.com/default.aspx
Key #48 SET-BUSHING, CRANK SHAFT (STD. SIZE) (MAIN BEARING), F770 3-BEARINGS
12207-73600 1.6L - 6702 1
Key #58 SET-BUSHING, CRANK SHAFT F550 0.50MM, 3-BEARINGS
12210-73600 1.6L - 6702 1
Key #66 SET-BUSHING, CRANK SHAFT F550 1.00MM, 3-BEARINGS
12212-73600 1.6L - 6702 1
I used this vendor for most of the parts to build my stroker (5-main). My
understanding is that there was an H16 used in forklifts that was a 3-main
before becoming the "R" series engine.
FWIW,
Mike Hudson - '67 Stroker/5-Speed

Federal had some cross over bearings which are pretty good.
I believe that's what we used on my 3-main 1600 (with a cheater 2000 3-main)
crankshaft. (15 years ago?)

You're right, Pete - the 11207's are NISMO.
I also found NDC MS1042GP-STD I believe NDC was a supplier to Nissan. Made
in India by RG Bronze. http://www.rgbronze.com/bearings.html
Did Nissan make any fork lifts with 3 main R16's?

Those 12207- numbers appear to be NISMO stuff.......and NLA.
The REPCO parts Graeme referenced from the DSOA site are also unobtainium.
I thought the Nissan J-series were similar/compatible w/ the BMC B-series?
If so, no go as the main journals are smaller than the G15/3-main R16, which
are smaller than the 5-main R16.

Subject: [Roadsters] FYI: G15/R16 3-main bearings NLA from Nissan
FYI: My Datsun-friendly (510 guy) Nissan parts person confirms the main
bearings for 3-main R16's are NLA from Nissan nor do any dealers show them
in inventory. After-market also comes up blank.
12209-12201: SET-BUSHING, CRANK SHAFT F770 0.25MM, 3-BEARINGS
12210-12201: SET-BUSHING, CRANK SHAFT F550 0.50MM, 3-BEARINGS
12211-12201: SET-BUSHING, CRANK SHAFT F770 0.75MM, 3-BEARINGS
If you want main bearings for a 3-main G15/R16, Stan & Dean (Ross? Others?)
are your sources.
Thanks.
Pete
